The challenge

A serious firm on a site that didn't read like one.

Partners Chad Mason and Kahn Kassegn run a busy trial practice across criminal, family, and civil work. Their site, though, lived on a dated Wix build: slow to load, awkward to update, and missing depth on the practice areas that actually bring clients in the door.

The rebuild also needed to support new articles and make them easy to find alongside relevant practice areas. Existing content and the firm's contact routes needed to carry across to the new site.

The firm needed a site that matched the calibre of the practice, that they could update without calling anyone, and that wouldn't break their email or drop their existing pages the day it went live.

The approach

Build around the practice and its content.

We kept what was working, the navy-and-gold identity the firm is known for, and rebuilt the site around clear practice-area information, attorney profiles and insight articles. Strategy, design and development were handled together.

1. Organize the practice: dedicated practice-area pages, attorney photography and client-review content.
2. Move the website: replace the Wix build on the firm's existing domain.
3. Support discovery: page metadata, a sitemap and analytics to support ongoing website work.
4. Make publishing available: a content management system for creating and updating insight articles.

Live on the firm's domain, ready for new content.
