The challenge

A new firm that needed to look established on day one.

Sena Law is a Vancouver practice focused on family law and alternative dispute resolution, calm, careful work for people in hard moments. Co-founders Kelsey Beazer and Samantha Simpson needed a website that carried that tone, with welcoming imagery and clear information about the ways the firm helps clients.

It also had to feel established from the first visit, give them a place to publish their own thinking over time, and be something they could own and update without depending on anyone.

The approach

Make the services and people easy to understand.

We brought the firm's services, people and content into one website, using a warm identity and BC-landscape imagery. A working preview let the founders review the direction before committing.

1. A brand of their own, ocean-teal, rust, and cream, with Zilla Slab and Plus Jakarta Sans type.
2. Photography that fits, BC-landscape imagery that gives the site a grounded, local character.
3. Clear service information, pages introducing the firm's family-law and dispute-resolution work.
4. Hand over the keys, a self-publishing Decap CMS for their News & Insights.

The outcome

A live website with room to keep publishing.
