Online stores that sell

Ecommerce website design built around how people buy

For established businesses that sell products online, or want to start, we design and build storefronts around the products and the buying journey. You get a store that loads fast on phones, takes payments and shipping through the right tools, and stays yours to run.

What we build

A storefront designed around
your products

Stores lose sales on the basics: product pages that are hard to read, a checkout that asks too much, and pages that crawl on a phone. We start with the products and the path a buyer takes.

Product pages people can read

Each product page gets a clear name, honest photos, the price, shipping and return details, and the answers a buyer needs before they commit. Categories and filters follow how your customers look for products. We write or edit the content, and you review the business facts, prices and product details before anything goes live.

Checkout that stays out of the way

The buying journey is mapped before design starts: landing on a product, adding to cart, paying, and the confirmation that follows. We keep the number of steps low, show shipping costs early, and test the whole path on phones and desktop before launch. If a step is unclear to a first-time buyer, we fix it before the store goes live.

Payments and shipping

The right tools for
payments and shipping

Some stores are best served by an established commerce platform. Others need custom work because the products, pricing or fulfilment do not fit a template. The written scope says which we recommend and why.

Established platforms where they fit

When your catalogue, payment needs and shipping rules match what an established platform does well, we build on it and connect it to your custom design. You get tested checkout, tax and shipping handling, and a store your team can manage without calling us. The platform account is opened in your name, so it stays with you.

Custom where templates get in the way

Configurable products, quotes, wholesale pricing, bookings or unusual fulfilment often break template stores. In those cases we build the storefront on our custom stack, hosted on a global edge network, and connect payments and shipping through established services. Which parts are custom and which are off the shelf is written into the scope so there are no surprises later.

How we work

Two builds that show
how we work

Neither is a store. They show the process an online store gets from us: planning the move from the old site, keeping the brand, and carrying existing pages across so nothing breaks on launch.

MK Law: a rebuild without breakage

MK Law, P.A. is a trial firm in Fort Lauderdale. Its old page-builder site was slow and awkward to change, so we listed every page, matched each one to the new site and carried the contact routes across before switching over. That mapping step is what an existing store needs too, applied to product and category addresses instead of practice areas.

Sena Law: a first site planned end to end

Sena Law, founded by Kelsey Beazer and Samantha Simpson, is a BC family law and dispute resolution practice. With nothing to migrate, the work was structure and identity from scratch, then publishing tools the lawyers use themselves. A first store is planned the same way: the categories, the buying path and the tools you run without calling us, all agreed before anything is built.

Price and start

What an online store costs and
how it starts

We quote after a short discovery so the price reflects the real scope. We quote projects in USD after we agree the scope. Stores with large catalogues, custom pricing rules or unusual fulfilment sit toward the top of that range.

Fixed price, half to begin

The price is fixed and agreed in writing before work starts, with half paid to begin and half at launch. Larger rebuilds start with paid discovery so the scope is right before the build is priced. If you ask for changes along the way, we confirm them in writing, including any effect on price or timing, before we do them.

Care plans after launch

Once the store is live you can keep it with us on a monthly plan. Care at USD $99 covers managed hosting, SSL and domain, daily backups, security updates, uptime monitoring and a couple of small edits a month. Grow at USD $249 adds a monthly insights article, Google Business and SEO upkeep and unlimited small edits. Partner at USD $599 adds ongoing design, a quarterly promo video and strategy check-ins.

Ownership and location

The store stays
yours after launch

A store holds your customers, orders and revenue. It should never be locked to the studio that built it, and ours are not.

Your domain, accounts and keys

The store runs on your own domain, in your name, with your own hosting, payment and platform accounts and your own keys. We set them up with you rather than for ourselves. If you decide to leave, the store, the content and the data go with you, and nothing needs rebuilding to make that happen.

Where we are and how we work

We work remotely from Vancouver, Canada, with clients across Canada and the United States, including stores that sell into both countries. Reviews happen on a working link at agreed milestones. If your store also needs order automation, Strohl.ai handles that and scopes it separately.

Fair questions

What people ask before
a store build

Do you build on an established ecommerce platform or custom?

Both, depending on the store. If your catalogue, payments and shipping rules fit what an established platform handles well, we build on it with a custom design on top. If your products or fulfilment do not fit a template, we build custom and connect payments and shipping through established services. The recommendation is written into the scope.

How much does an ecommerce website cost?

We quote projects in USD after we agree the scope. Catalogue size, custom pricing rules, integrations with your inventory or shipping tools, and how much content needs writing all move the number. We quote a fixed price in writing after a short discovery. Half is paid to begin and half at launch.

Can you rebuild my existing store without breaking it?

Rebuilds include planning the move from the existing store. We map current pages and product addresses, carry them across or redirect them, and check the key buying journeys before launch. Products, customer records and order history are moved as part of the scoped work, confirmed with you before the switch.

Can I add products and change prices myself?

Yes. Publishing tools for products, prices, stock, pages and articles are included when they are scoped, and we show you how to use them before handover, so day-to-day changes never wait on us. If you would rather hand that off, the Grow and Partner care plans include small edits and content each month.

What happens after launch?

The store is checked across screen sizes and the key buying journeys are verified before launch, then handed over with your domain, accounts and keys in your name. Ongoing care is optional and monthly, covering hosting, backups, security updates and small edits, with larger additions scoped in writing.
