For business owners who have a website and want someone accountable for keeping it fast, secure and current, we offer care plans at a fixed monthly price. Hosting and backups are handled, and there is a simple way to send edits.
What maintenance covers
Maintenance is the work that keeps a site running after launch. Done well it is mostly invisible, which is why it is easy to skip.
Your site needs a reliable home, a current SSL certificate, a domain that does not lapse and a copy of everything in case something goes wrong. On every plan we manage hosting, SSL and the domain, take daily backups and apply security updates as they are released.
Uptime monitoring tells us when the site goes down so we can act before a customer tells you. Small edits are the changes that pile up in a normal month, like a new phone number or a price update. On Grow and Partner we also keep content, Google Business and SEO current.
Plans and pricing
Every plan is a flat monthly fee, and you can leave at any time. To start, send your website address through our contact form and we reply within one business day with our recommendation.
Care covers the essentials: managed hosting, SSL and domain, daily backups and security updates, uptime monitoring and a couple of small edits each month. It suits a business whose site is finished and mostly needs to stay online, stay safe and reflect the odd change during the year.
Grow includes everything in Care, plus one insights article a month, Google Business and SEO upkeep, a quarterly performance report and unlimited small edits. It suits a business that wants the site to bring in enquiries, with steady content and someone reading the numbers each quarter.
Partner includes everything in Grow, plus ongoing design and new sections, a promo video every quarter, priority turnaround and strategy check-ins. Choose it when the website is a working part of the business and you want us on call to keep adding to it.
How requests work
You should never have to wonder whether a change is coming. This is how a request moves to the live site.
Send us what you need in plain language, with any text or images attached. We reply within one business day to confirm what we understood, whether it fits inside your plan and when you can expect it. If anything is unclear we ask before we build.
A new section, a redesigned page or a new feature is more than a small edit. We describe the work, the price and the review points in writing before we start. Business facts such as prices, hours and credentials come from you, and you check them before they go live.
Built to be maintained
Maintenance costs less when the site was built with it in mind. Two of our law firm builds show what that means.
MK Law, P.A. is a trial firm in Fort Lauderdale. Since the rebuild the firm publishes its own insight articles and edits its own pages through a content management system, so a new article or a corrected detail takes a login rather than a request to a developer. What we keep is the quieter half: managed hosting, SSL and domain, daily backups, security updates and uptime monitoring, plus the small edits that want a designer's eye. A new practice-area page counts as a larger addition, described and priced before it is built.
Sena Law, a family law and dispute resolution practice founded by Kelsey Beazer and Samantha Simpson, needed to look established on day one. Alongside the identity and the site, we set up a self-publishing CMS for News and Insights, so the lawyers post articles themselves. The site is live at senalaw.ca.
Sites we did not build
We are based in Vancouver, Canada, and work with clients across Canada and the United States, remotely. Most people who contact us already have a site, and we can take on care for it after a review.
Send us your website address and tell us who built it and where it is hosted, whether that is WordPress, Wix or something else. We look at how the site is put together, what it depends on and how it performs on phones, then recommend a plan in writing or explain what would need to change first.
Some sites cost more to keep patched than to replace. Our own builds are custom-coded on a modern stack with no page builders, and when a rebuild makes sense we plan the move from the existing site so pages and contact routes carry across. We quote projects in USD after we agree the scope.
Fair questions
A small edit is a change we can make quickly without new design or new functionality: updating text, swapping an image, changing a price or phone number, adding a team member to an existing page. A new layout, section or feature is a larger addition, scoped and priced in writing before we start.
Often, yes, after a review. Send us the address and a note on who built it and where it is hosted. We check how it is built and what it depends on, then tell you in writing whether a plan fits as it stands or whether a rebuild is the better use of your money.
No. Plans are billed monthly and you can leave at any time. The site, the domain and the accounts are in your name from the start, with your own keys, so leaving means we stop the monthly work and you keep everything. Larger additions are agreed separately in writing and do not change the plan.
Uptime monitoring alerts us when the site stops responding, and we start work without waiting for you to notice. Daily backups mean we can restore a recent copy if something is broken. When it is resolved, we tell you what happened and what, if anything, needs to change.
